This contest is open to double crust and single crust pies.
This contest is open to all age groups.
Please, amateur bakers only.
You may enter as many times as you would like.
All pastry and pie fillings are to be home made.
Pies will be judged on appearance, texture and flavor.
A copy of the recipe, including your name, address and phone number, must
accompany your entry.
Bring your pie to the Tecumseh United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall by
Winners will be announced at 12:00 noon under the tent.
Please, pick up your marked non disposable pie plate by 3:00 pm.
All pies become the property of Tecumseh Heritage Day, and will be sold.
Bake your pie just before the contest. Residual warmth transmits more fla-
vor to the palate. Be careful transporting a hot pie.
Go on, compete anyway! If you don’t think your pie is good enough remem-
ber: pie baking is not an exact science, put enough love into it and you could
win. You can’t win if you don’t enter.
